The bible says that '... my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus'. My belt broke last week and I have been using rope for this past week (this includes going to church today with my fancy custom made belt).
And all week I have been thinking 'How am I going to get a new belt? I have no money. I dont want to borrow money for the belt. How am I going to get a new belt?' Then God hits me with an answer. 'I gave you my son, and life here to serve me, don't you think I will give you a belt if I think you need one?'
Sometimes we go through life thinking 'Oh me, what will i do?' You know what? It is at times like these that we need to fall back on the sovereignty of God and trust that the controller of the universe knows what He is doing. He has all the riches in this world and He will supply us according to His riches, not only here, but in glory. And we know those riches far exceed our needs.
Next time you worry about God's provision, just remember what He has provided already.
