Psalms cviii. 12,13
The great contrast of man and God. Not much of a measure up to me. 'Vain is the help of man' very much an understatement. Man can not help you at all!
'Through God we shall do valiantly' Contrast: over statement. Without God we can not even fall on our faces, we can do nothing. But above that is says that we will ... be valiant? What a mighty God we serve that can take some thing so useless and make him valiant.
The great ungulffed contrast of God and man. From verse 12 to verse 13 man is brought up from 'vain help' to 'valiant victor'
